Passionate 4 Learning-Week 6

Happy Monday! April is flying by so put on your party clothes and let’s celebrate.

This week is my dad’s eightieth birthday. I am sad because we will not be able to get together.  We can still celebrate. What are you celebrating this week?

Passionate 4 Learning Week 6

Summer birthdays are the best. We have several Summer birthdays in our family. I think birthdays should be celebrated all week!

This week I am sharing some great celebration activities. You don’t have to have a birthday to celebrate. You can celebrate anything such as life, good health, or time together.

Put on your party clothes and let’s celebrate!

Passionate 4 Learning – Dance

Dance Parties – Put on your party clothes and let’s dance. Let the kids pick out the playlist, move the furniture to clear some space, and then have fun. This is a great way to get some exercise for the kids as well as for the adults.

Passionate 4 Learning – Singing

Karaoke Celebration – For this one, you will need a microphone or even a pretend microphone, music, and the lyrics. Let the sings have fun singing their favorite songs.

Build a Fort – Kids love to build forts. All you need are some sheets, blankets, and pillows. You can move the furniture around a bit to support your fort. This could be a great place to let the kids work on a drawing, read, or just journal. Be creative!

Passionate 4 Learning – Balloons

Balloons – Kids love to play with balloons. Blow up a bunch of balloons and let them play.

Passionate 4 Learning – Puzzles

Games – Get out the board games, puzzles, chalk, colors, etc. You may have already played all of the board games in your house. Be creative and have prizes for the winners.

Your kids will love to celebrate. Let your kids do all of the planning and have fun! Let’s make this week amazing. Check out my other Passionate 4 Learning ideas. Or check out my Facebook page. Go ahead and have fun!

I would love to hear from you. Blessings!

Just log into the app, load your cart with the grocery needs, choose a delivery time, and the Shipt people will do the rest.

Earth DayTime to celebrate!

I am coming your way with some great Earth Day activities that you can do all week!

Here are a few activities that your kids will love!

You Rock Rock Painting

There are so many great rock activities. This one is probably my favorite. Have you heard of a pet rock? Get your kids outside to collect some rocks. I like the unfinished river rocks. The smooth rocks are the best. You will need some water-based acrylic paint and some brushes. You can also use fine tip paint pens or even some markers that might work. This gets messy so put down some paper. Let your kids be creative such as hearts, rainbows, words, etc. (source: https://rhythmsofplay.com).

Easy Earth Day Collages

There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating a collage. Get out some old magazines, construction paper, glue, and some pens. Have the kids find pictures in the magazines that represent earth day. It can be as creative as you like. Or you can stick with things like plants, earth, dirt, rocks, seeds, etc.

Fun Flower Earth Day Crafts –

If you don’t have seeds to plant some flowers, make some flowers. All you need to make earth day flowers are muffin tin liners, markers, straws, glue, and construction paper. The muffin tin liners will the petals and the straws are the stems of the flowers. You can cut leaves out of green construction paper. So much fun! (source: Printables4Mom)

All things Green and Blue –

Have the kids create pictures with only green and blue. See what they can come up with. Draw an earth and make it come to life with some eyes, nose, and smile. You can use a paper plate and a green and blue marker to make the earth as well (source: projectswithkids.com).

Cute Mini Plant Pots –

I love this idea! Take some empty Play-Doh containers, ribbon, glue, colored tape, and scissors. If you use ribbon, you will need to glue it on the container. I prefer the colored tape because all you need to do it cut it fit around the container. This is a great way to recycle. Now you can fill it with dirt, poke a hole in the bottom to let the water out, and plant a seed. Your kids will love it! (source: projectswithkids.com)

Your kids will love Earth Week! This is your time to really make this a fun time. Be creative. Tomorrow, I am sharing a few Earth Day recipes to try.

We are in this together! I would love to hear from you.

Blessings!
