Happy Friday! Today is the last day of February and we begin March tomorrow. All of us have been going through things over the last few years. These past few month have been really hard. Do you find your prayers starting something like, it’s me again God, can you hear me now?
In my studies this week, I came across the scripture on worry and anxiety. As I discussed last week, it is so easy to fall into fear and worry. Where does this worry come from?
Fear and worry takes over when we take our eyes off of God! The reason people operate on zero energy is because they cancel their prayer power by giving in to the negative power of worry.
Anxiety can cause a poor signal in our prayer life. It’s me again God, can you hear me now?
Colossians 1:4 states, “for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [how you lean on Him with absolute confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness], and of the [unselfish] love which you have for all the saints (God’s people).
To have this kind of faith means we believe that God will do what needs to be done for us.
When we rely completely on God, instead of on people, this kind of faith brings peace and blessings to our lives.
Philippians 4:7 states, “And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
God can hear you! Pray about everything instead of worrying and God will take care of you.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that you were able to spend time with your friends and loved ones over the weekend. My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at home. However, I made chocolate covered strawberries which is always a treat at our house. If you are feeling uneasy today, this blog is for you. Friends, in a chaotic world, we need God’s love, protection, and guidance in our lives.
Are you feeling a little uneasy lately? One of my go to passages in the Bible is Psalm 23. If you haven’t memorized it, you should do it today.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever (Psalm 23: 1-6).
Why should we allow the Lord to be our Shepherd? Specifically, He leads, protects, and guides us. But only if we allow Him too. He will not lead you down the wrong path.
If you are going through trouble in your life, God will restore your soul. Restore means to bring back to its original condition. I like the sound of that!
I don’t know about you, but I need that restoration from God every day.
If your heart is hurting on this Valentine’s Day, take comfort in God’s love. His love is unfailing and He never gives up on you.
Likewise, continue to grow stronger by filling up on God’s word every day. This is God’s plan for your life.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy Monday! Christmas is almost here and there is still a lot to do. I hope that you are having a wonderful week. This week I am talking about the most powerful position you can have!
One of the things that have struck me this Christmas season is the lack of joy and peace. If I take my focus off of God for one minute I start to feel anxious.
Anxiety causes me to lose my joy and peace. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
It is so hard on many days to focus on the good. However, when we do, we are promised peace and joy. It is the most powerful position you can have!
Nehemiah 8:10 says, “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
As we near Christmas, don’t let the worries of the world steal your joy. Jesus came to the earth and was born in a manger. Jesus brought peace and joy to the world and will continue to bring us peace and joy.
Luke 2:10-11, “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
Peace gives you power!
Therefore, pursue peace and joy! Expect good things to come in 2022.
Thank you for following my blog every week. You are simply amazing. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
