We had a great weekend celebrating my birthday with family and friends. It was just what I needed.
Philippians 3:15-21 states, “So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision-you’ll see it yet!”
It is time to change our focus to the promises of God. This is hard but I think this is so important to our moving forward. We need to place our trust in God. God has given us so much to be grateful for. Concentrate on the things that God has done and promised to do!
Have a great week!
Blessings to you all!
Happy Monday! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend. We celebrated our granddaughter’s first birthday. We love spending time with our kids and granddaughters. I hope that your 4thof July was great!
My husband and I had the pleasure of attending Cornerstone Church on Sunday. We have been listening to a three-part sermon series on the Flood. This week Matt Hagee preached on faith. Do we have faith, or are we living by faith?
Genesis 6:13-14, “So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So, make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.”
Can you imagine what Noah was thinking at that point? He probably didn’t know what an ark was much less how to build one.
In Genesis 6:22,“Noah did everything just as God commanded him.”Wow, Noah had a lot of faith. I don’t know about you, but I want that kind of faith.
So, do you have faith, or do you live by faith? You may be going through a flood today. Trust in God! He is all that you need.
