Only Believe

Only Believe
Only Believe

One way to simplify your life is to believe. It isn’t always easy. When we plant a garden or some flowers we wait and believe. I think we can grow into the process of belief by repeating, “I believe, God” when we start feeling frustrated or worried. Our days are filled with joy and peace when we believe. So, start your week off right. Only believe…I love this quote by C.S. Lewis. “We are what we believe we are.”

Decide to let things go that don’t matter!

I have always been one to sweat the small stuff. Over the last few months, I am learning to let more things go. Life is filled with worries and problems. In fact, there are so many big things that we need to deal with so why do we spend time on the little things that can easily be ignored?  Decide to let the little things go that really don’t make a difference.

I love this quote by David Keppel. “Better never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you. For you’re sure to make your trouble double trouble when you do.”

Food from the heart!

When I was in high school, I loved to bake. I loved to bake cookies. I think chocolate was my favorite but I loved M&M cookies as well. I liked to experiment with different flavors. It is so easy to take the basic cookie recipe and add in a few different ingredients to make them even yummier. These cookies are different than any others that I have made. They lack an essential ingredient that you won’t miss at all. Remember, I am going back to the basics and keeping it simple. I pray that you are making memories with your family and making the best of the time that you have together because life is short.
