You can be happy anyway…

John 15:16
You can be happy anyway…

I remember when I was a little girl and we would divide up into teams and play dodgeball on the playground. I was always one of the last to be chosen. Even if we are the last to be chosen, we can be happy anyway. God notices the people that nobody else notices. Therefore, we don’t have to live in fear of not being chosen because we are chosen by God. John 15: 16 says we are chosen, appointed, and planted…

Go into your weekend knowing that…

You can be happy anyway because we are chosen by God!

Don’t live your life in fear of rejection. God chose you! We are not invisible because God sees us.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” John 15:16

Are you cooking weary?

Are you cooking weary

As we head into the fall season, what are you cooking at your house? Are you cooking weary? Since the Covid-19 more and more people are making homemade meals with their families. Others are choosing to either go for the deliveries or go through the drive-thru. While others are ordering fresh meals delivered to your home either ready to make or already prepared that can be popped into the oven and ready in minutes. It was projected that in 2019, over 800 billion would be spent in the restaurant industry. Before the Covid-19 we ate out more than we ate at home. Wow, that is a lot of money.

Are you cooking weary?

I do know that my love for cooking has waned a bit over the last months. I have become cooking weary. My once a week trip to the grocery store has turned into a quick order using Shipt or curbside pickup. Don’t get me wrong, I love to bake and will always love to bake. But, trying to decide what to fix for supper has become a daily chore.

What I do know…

is Don’t Give Up! Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Keep doing what you are doing! Even when you are feeling cooking weary, do not give up! Let’s share ideas and recipes.

Stay tuned tomorrow! I am sharing an easy pumpkin bread recipe using a mix. You will love it!
