Happy friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. It has sure been hot here in Texas. This week I am talking about our go to when bad things happen. When I was little all I needed was a lifesaver!
I remember when I was little and my mom took me to the local clinic to get my vaccine. All I could think about at the time was how bad it was going to hurt. I was literally crying my eyes out and I hadn’t even received my vaccine. A man came up to us in line and offered me a lifesaver. Even thought the shot hurt, somehow that lifesaver made everything better.
What is your go to when bad things happen?
When I was little all I needed was a lifesaver!
Philippians 4:6-7 states, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
When I’m tempted to do something other than go to the throne, I am reminded of this scripture.
Talk to God just like you talk to your friends. Tell Him about the things you are going through and how you feel.
He really wants to know. He desires to have a relationship with you on a daily basis not just on Sundays.
Let me know how I can pray for you. Leave a comment in the chat.

Hello friends, I hope that you are having a great week. This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad. This week, I am talking about things that look dark that can change in a minute!
Every where I turn, people are going through some hard times. The words that come out of their mouth is I can’t catch a break. Me too!
Friends it is so easy to get caught up in the lies of the devil. He tells us that we are never going to get out of these storms and he seems to knows just the right time to say these things.
2 Kings 20:1-11 tells us of a man named Hezekiah who because ill and was going to die. He prayed to God and spoke the truth through his tears. Through a process, Hezekiah was healed.
Friends this storm will not consume you. Things that look dark can change in a minute. Look up to God and ask Him to deliver you. Be obedient to His instruction. Challenge these shadows in your life.
Don’t give up on your dreams and what you are praying for!
Friends I would love to pray for you. Leave comments in the chat if you want prayer.
See you next week at kamzinsser.com.
Hello Friends! I was listening to a podcast a few days ago about going through storms. It is difficult to always look for a silver lining. However, the Word of God says for us to be positive in the midst of a storm. How do we do that? God tells us in the Bible.
Friends, are you going through a storm?
Storms make us weary. It seems that sometimes we just get through one storm and another one pops up.
How do we stay positive when it seems like all hell is breaking loose in our lives? I can tell you from experience, it isn’t easy. Staying focused on the positive in the midst of a storm can be a minute by minute process.
In Numbers 13, Moses sent in 12 men to check out the Promised Land. After 40 days, ten of them came back all negative and defeated. However, Caleb and Joshua were more positive and they believed they were more than able to overtake the giants.
I wanted to be more like Caleb. Dare to be a Caleb or a Joshua. If you are going through something today, stay in hope and trust God that He will take care of you.
Please stop by my blog every week for more encouraging words.
