Happy Tuesday! I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Weekend and took time to honor those who lost their lives in our nation’s wars. I am so proud to live in America.
How was your last week? Are you feeling frustrated, discouraged, or disappointed? Are you tired of trying?
I admit I get frustrated when things don’t work out the way I think they should. Can anyone relate?
This past week I have been thinking a lot about grace. What is grace? Why do we need it?
Grace is the power to overcome all of life’s struggles. Grace is God’s power.
In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul pleaded with the Lord three times to take a thorn in his flesh. God answered, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul delighted in hardships because “when I am weak, then I am strong.”
If you are tired of trying, exchange your trying for trusting. His grace is all that you need. You got it!
Happy Monday! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend. We celebrated our granddaughter’s first birthday. We love spending time with our kids and granddaughters. I hope that your 4thof July was great!
My husband and I had the pleasure of attending Cornerstone Church on Sunday. We have been listening to a three-part sermon series on the Flood. This week Matt Hagee preached on faith. Do we have faith, or are we living by faith?
Genesis 6:13-14, “So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So, make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.”
Can you imagine what Noah was thinking at that point? He probably didn’t know what an ark was much less how to build one.
In Genesis 6:22,“Noah did everything just as God commanded him.”Wow, Noah had a lot of faith. I don’t know about you, but I want that kind of faith.
So, do you have faith, or do you live by faith? You may be going through a flood today. Trust in God! He is all that you need.
