Happy Monday! Friends, are you feeling burdened by the weight of what is going on in the world? Me too! Now is not the time for the faint of heart. We must be strong and courageous and know God is With us.
I confess I have had many days when I have felt a little weak. You know what, God has always been there to pick me up again.
The Book of Daniel gives us hope. Daniel and his three friends lived in a time of harsh dictatorship. In fact, they were exiled and lived in captivity. Daniel had faith and stayed strong through the midst of some terrible circumstances, such as the lion’s den and the fiery furnace. God showed up because Daniel was faithful.
Are you feeling strong and courageous today?
Put your trust in God and He will make you strong.
Psalm 46: 1-3 states, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
Friends, don’t give up. God is for you and He is with you right now. Check out my blog every week at kamzinsser.com.
Hello friends! I hope and pray that your week has started out well. My heart is hurting for our world. Today I am talking about something that has been on my heart for a while now. I believe that love is more than a feeling, it is a decision!
In Romans 16:2, Paul wrote to the church in Rome on how we should receive Phoebe, “in the Lord [with love and hospitality],” and more specifically he said they were to “help her in whatever matter she may require assistance from you.”
I have learned over the years and believe that love is much more than a feeling. I can tell you if I relied on my feelings, there are many days that I don’t feel like doing something. Our feelings change on a daily basis.
I do think that as we grow in the Lord we learn more ourselves. We show love by how we treat people, not how we feel about them.
In Colossians 3:14, we are told to “put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love.”
Therefore, love is something we do on purpose no matter how we feel.
If we want God’s will in our lives, we should do things His way. Love and forgive others.

Hello friends, I find it easy to say, don’t worry, but it is so hard to do. I’m not sure that anybody can truly conquer the habit of worry and develop the habit of peace and rest. It takes practice. What I do know for sure is we need to have faith and expect good things from God.
Romans 4: 20-21 states, “But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God. Being fully convinced that God had the power to do what He had promised.”
Abraham waited 25 years for the fulfillment of God’s promise. It is so hard to hold onto the promises of God in the middle of chaos.
The Bible gives us promises, hope, and encouragement. Despite all that is going around us, God still gives us hope. Expect good things from God.
Do you need something good to read? The Bible is my go-to for the good news.
If you want to find some hope, check out Hebrews 11. You will find stories about people who dared to believe the promises of God.
Have faith and expect good things from God.
Don’t give up! Have faith that God will keep His promises.
Moreover, focus on the goodness of God! He will come through for those who serve Him.
