Happy Monday! I hope that you are having a nice start to your week. We are starting a new month this week and boy is it easy to fall prey to the negativity of the world. For many years, the negativity that I allowed to enter my mind would replay over and over. It is time to stop the replay of negativity in our minds!
According to 2 Corinthians 5:21, “He made Christ who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God.”
The God’s righteousness is available to us when we ask Jesus to be our Savior. It is a gift to us. We didn’t earn it, it comes by grace and through faith.
About a year ago, I was listening to a podcast by Joyce Meyer. She said we could make our day go better just by getting our words in agreement with God. We can change our thoughts and words in agreement with the way God speaks and thinks about us.
Wow, this really hit me hard. I could change the way I felt about myself by aligning my thoughts with what God thinks of me?
I can say things like, “I am the righteousness of God.” “Jesus loves me!” It may be a bit awkward at first. But when you do this on a regular basis, it starts to sink in.
What are you saying about yourself? Stop the negativity replay in your mind today.
When we accept the righteousness of God the more we start to do and live right!
This is a game changer!

Happy Monday, friends! We are entering the last full week of January and time is flying by. I pray that as you read my blog today, you are well. If you have a need, please put it in the comments. I would love to pray for you. In this crazy world we need to take time to do something we love. What are you putting off in your life?
If I learned anything from the Pandemic, I learned to seize the day.
What are you putting off in your life?
Make the time today to do things that make you happy.
Life is short! We are not promised another day.
When my boys were younger, I confess I didn’t take care of myself. I put their needs and wants first.
Looking back, this was definitely not good for me or them.
Proverbs 27:1 tells us to “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”
My husband’s favorite saying was “he will have time to rest in heaven.”
Friends, what are you putting off that you could be doing today?
Take some time today to do what you love. Spend time with family and friends! Go to the park! Go shopping! Take a walk!
Thank you for stopping by today. Please continue to follow my blog at kamzinsser.com.
Happy Monday, friends! I hope that you are staying well and had a great weekend! We experienced some sickness in our family over the holidays. In fact, some are just getting over it. When you are going through a rough patch, like sickness, it is important to have faith and know it is going to end well!
However, trusting God is not always easy when you aren’t feeling well. When I had the Covid last year, I felt terrible. But God was with me every step of the way.
Faith is so important. We can’t let doubt or unbelief steal our faith.
Faith is the decision to trust God no matter the circumstance. Faith is the knowledge that whatever you are going through is going to end well!
If you are having trouble trusting God read:
2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we live by faith, not by sight.”
Matthew 16:19, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
1 John 4:4, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
Through the hard times, we grow. Stand on the promises of God and have faith. Have faith in God and know it is going to end well.
