Happy Monday, friends! We are already into February. I hope that your Monday is going well. This week I am talking on peeling back the layers to reveal new life.
I have been in real estate for a while now and have seen a few renovations. My husband and I have been through a few projects at our home. I have seen many projects where people have taken up the carpet in their home and find hard wood flooring or scrap wall paper off the wall to find shiplap. Even still, we do love to update our homes with the new trends.
To peel back the layers, it takes some tearing down which is truly painful.
I believe this is what God does for us. As we continue to study God words, He continues to peel back the layers of hurt, deception, and lies from the enemy.
Once these areas that weighed us down is peeled back, God replaces them with peace, love, and joy. All of our value and worth come from God.
Isaiah 54:11 states, “O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will set thy stones in fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.”
I believe this is the year of restoration. It is time to restore what is old and peeling back the layers to reveal new life.
God will rebuild you with precious jewels. May you week full of the peace of God!
Happy Monday! This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice! When my boys were little, they would alway ask for things at the grocery check out line. One day, I was standing in the line at the grocery store and over heard a little boy telling his mother, “I want it and I want it now!” I chuckled because it reminded me of my boys when they were little.
I realized a couple of weeks ago that I was more like this little boy than I cared to admit. It is so amazing how God works in our lives. He can speak to us through a song or a sermon. It may be all at once or little by little.
When my focus is off, I don’t hear God’s voice! I tend to listen to what I want and need.
What are you focused on today? It is so easy to get our eyes off of God and on to what the world offers.
God wants us to seek His presence not His presents! The word “presence” means face which represents a personal relationship with God.
As we continue to seek God, we grow spiritually and we learn what is truly important.
Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after:

That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of Jehovah,
And to inquire in his temple.”
God is never more than one thought away. We may not always feel like it, but He is always present. God wants and needs us to have faith and believe.
Hebrews 11:6 states, “and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.”

It is certainly okay to ask for things but more frequently we should ask for more of Him.
Trust God to give you what you need, when you need it! Matthew 6:33 says to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”
A new song came out a couple of weeks ago and it is on my daily playlist. I wanted to share it with you. Please enjoy!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope that you will have a lovely week. Seek God first!
Let’s be friends. Stay in touch.
Happy Monday, Friends! It is a great day to have a great day. I hope that you are having a nice start to your week. We are in the first full week of February. What do you have planned for this week? Waiting is the hardest thing that we ever do!
This past weekend my husband and I had an early Valentines date. I hope that you and your family or friends are making the most of your time and doing things you love.
One of the hardest thing that we ever do is wait. We wait for our prayers to be answered. We spend a whole of time waiting at traffic lights. Did you know humans spend 6 months of their lives waiting in line and on average 43 days on hold with automated customer service.
Friends what are you waiting for? The Bible tells us in Psalms 39:7, “And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.”
You may be waiting on God to move on your behalf.
Don’t give up! He won’t let you down. Our hope is in the Lord.
I would love to pray for you. Let me know how I can pray for you.
I hope that you will continue to follow my blog at kamzinsser.com.
