My passion is to educate, motivate, and provide hope to women of all ages. You are not alone!
Happy Friday! We made it through another week. I woke up this morning hopeful and thankful! I am thankful for so many things in my life. I am thankful we have a God who loves us and is taking care of us. I believe God wants us to draw closer to Him at this time.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20).
It took Paul over twenty years to no longer live for himself. It is a daily struggle and it gets harder every day when we have pandemonium going on around us. However, asking God what we can do for others allows us to take the necessary steps toward this goal.
Let’s go into the weekend hopeful asking God to guide us! Focus on the one who gives us this day our daily bread!
Have a blessed weekend!
Happy Thursday!
How are you doing? The days this week have been a blur to me. However, I am staying pretty busy teaching my online classes and writing my blog.
My youngest son turns 24 on Saturday. I cannot believe he will be 24. He also graduates from college in May. So, I am busy thinking about his birthday and celebrating at home.
In the light of what is going on around us, are dressing for battle?
“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:13). The words that stand out to me in the scripture is “put on.”
In other words, Just like we put on our clothes every day we put on the armor of God.
Start your day off right and clothed yourself with the armor of God! Finally, be strong in the Lord and have a blessed day!
Hello Again!
We are starting another week at home!
Another week of homeschooling your kiddos. How are you doing?
I would love to hear from you.
I remember when I started homeschooling my youngest son and even though I was an educator it was probably the hardest job that I had ever had.
Spring is such a lovely time of year. My rose bushes are blooming. There are so many great activities to do at home with your kids. I included a few to get you going this week!
Kids love to play with slime! I found an easy recipe to whip up with your kids
¼ cup instant pudding mix
1 cup corn starch
1/3 cup warm water
1. Add instant pudding mix and half of your cornstarch to a mixing bowl. Add 1/3 cup water and stir until slime begins to form.
2. Slowly add the rest of your cornstarch, stirring as you go. When slime thickens and is hard to stir with a spoon, finish kneading by hand.
Store in an airtight ziplock bag. After a couple of uses, throw the slime away.
The ingredients may be edible, the kids do not need to eat it! However, it is fun to play with.
I love butterflies! I found a great recipe for Pretzel Butterflies to make with your kids. Click on the link below.
