My passion is to educate, motivate, and provide hope to women of all ages. You are not alone!
Happy Monday! I cannot believe we are already in the second week of the new year. It has already been a busy start to the year. Friends, I feel like everyone is facing a storm in this new year. I am learning to put one foot in front of the other.
In Matthew 14: 22-33, Jesus walked on the lake to the disciples. When the disciples saw him, they were afraid. Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. When Peter became afraid, Jesus reached out His hand and caught Peter. Jesus and Peter got back into the boat and immediately the wind died down.
I don’t know about you, but I needed this word from God today. You may be in the middle of the storm, have faith, and never give up. Some days we have to just get up, put one foot in front of the other, and say out loud, “no matter how it looks, I am not giving up.” God is for me!

Looks like we made it! However, things are pretty much the same at our house. Many people are still working from home, college students are attending classes online, and we are still wearing masks. But I am so tired of the masks. I digress!
I am starting a new theme this year with my blog. Since we are staying more at our homes, I am finding that more people are doing renovations than ever before. More people are being forced to reimagine their spaces to meet the homework style/homeschool style. You have to try these new trends in your home.
I started teaching online classes in 2007. So, I have had a space to work from in my home since that time. However, it is nice to refresh and update. In fact, my husband and I just got through with a major project at our home. I will be sharing more about that later.
According to Monique Valeris, one popular trend in 2021 is something simple and easy to do in any home, paint (https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/decorating). To make staying inside more bearable, the new trends for 2021 are to use paint colors are bringing the outdoors inside. Using a shade of bronze brings a sense of calm inside your home. Another color is Green brings in the outside atmosphere that everyone loves.
I personally have used the green paint colors in my home for a while now. But, more recently I used white paint in our new project. I personally love the clean and crisp look the white brings to the room.
If you are in the market for a new home and ready to sell yours, think about painting the walls to give them a fresh new look before you list. It will pay off for you in the end.
I hope that you will continue to join me in my journey at kamzinsser.com
Happy 2021 to you! As I think of the New Year, I think of resolutions and setting goals! Goal setting is not a bad thing. In fact, goal setting is an important way to move forward. You will achieve so much more if make this goal the most important goal for 2021
You may be thinking and wondering how you will ever fit another goal. This goal is the most important one that you will ever set for yourself. Time with God!
One thing that I learned from 2020 is to let go of the bad. I am a dweller! I admit that when things go wrong I tend to dwell on all of the bad. A few months ago, I felt like God was telling me to concentrate on something else.
So I believe, the most important goal of 2021 is spending more time with God. When we spend more time with God we will receive three important things to making our lives so much better.
First, more time with God will fill us with Joy! John 15:11 says, “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”
Second, when we spend more time with God we will have more Peace! John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Third, more time with God makes us Whole! 2 Corinthians says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” We are changed little by little!
Thank you for joining me in the New Year! You are all amazing. Stay tuned for more and continue to follow kamzinsser.com.
