My passion is to educate, motivate, and provide hope to women of all ages. You are not alone!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! This week is Spring Break for many. If that is you, I hope you enjoy your Spring Break. This week, I am discussing something so simple, but oh so powerful. Troubles will come, but don’t give up on hope!
We have all been through things in our life. I remember when my oldest son was small and I was attending college. We lived on a tight budget which meant not having much to eat. My goal was to finish my college so I could get a better job to support my family.
When I look back at that time in my life, God was faithful. I never remember a time when God let me down. God would always send someone to ask us to dinner or even bring over a few groceries.
I knew in my heart that this would pass!
One thing that got me through the hard times, was my hope!
Friends, we cannot allow ourselves to give up on hope! Otherwise, we would be constantly filled with worry and anxiety. Troubles will come, but don’t give up on hope!

We need the hope that only God can give. What are you plugged into? Jesus is our power source.
Psalm 62: 5-6 states, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.“
Life can be so overwhelming at times. However, I have learned to trust God in the good and the bad. Trust is built through the tough times.
Troubles will come, but don’t give up on hope!

Happy Monday! This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice! When my boys were little, they would alway ask for things at the grocery check out line. One day, I was standing in the line at the grocery store and over heard a little boy telling his mother, “I want it and I want it now!” I chuckled because it reminded me of my boys when they were little.
I realized a couple of weeks ago that I was more like this little boy than I cared to admit. It is so amazing how God works in our lives. He can speak to us through a song or a sermon. It may be all at once or little by little.
When my focus is off, I don’t hear God’s voice! I tend to listen to what I want and need.
What are you focused on today? It is so easy to get our eyes off of God and on to what the world offers.
God wants us to seek His presence not His presents! The word “presence” means face which represents a personal relationship with God.
As we continue to seek God, we grow spiritually and we learn what is truly important.
Psalm 27:4, “One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after:

That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of Jehovah,
And to inquire in his temple.”
God is never more than one thought away. We may not always feel like it, but He is always present. God wants and needs us to have faith and believe.
Hebrews 11:6 states, “and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.”

It is certainly okay to ask for things but more frequently we should ask for more of Him.
Trust God to give you what you need, when you need it! Matthew 6:33 says to “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”
A new song came out a couple of weeks ago and it is on my daily playlist. I wanted to share it with you. Please enjoy!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope that you will have a lovely week. Seek God first!
Let’s be friends. Stay in touch.
Happy Friday! Today is the last day of February and we begin March tomorrow. All of us have been going through things over the last few years. These past few month have been really hard. Do you find your prayers starting something like, it’s me again God, can you hear me now?
In my studies this week, I came across the scripture on worry and anxiety. As I discussed last week, it is so easy to fall into fear and worry. Where does this worry come from?
Fear and worry takes over when we take our eyes off of God! The reason people operate on zero energy is because they cancel their prayer power by giving in to the negative power of worry.
Anxiety can cause a poor signal in our prayer life. It’s me again God, can you hear me now?
Colossians 1:4 states, “for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [how you lean on Him with absolute confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness], and of the [unselfish] love which you have for all the saints (God’s people).
To have this kind of faith means we believe that God will do what needs to be done for us.
When we rely completely on God, instead of on people, this kind of faith brings peace and blessings to our lives.
Philippians 4:7 states, “And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].
God can hear you! Pray about everything instead of worrying and God will take care of you.
