My passion is to educate, motivate, and provide hope to women of all ages. You are not alone!
Happy Tuesday! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. My grands came into town over the weekend. It is always a good time when the grands are here. Friends, how are you doing? I admit, I am feeling a lot of sadness. Good grief we just need a minute to process.
With all that is going on in the world right now, I would be overwhelmed with grief if it wasn’t for God.
2 Corinthians 7:6 states, “But God, who comforts and encourages the depressed and the disquieted, comforted us by the arrival of Titus.”
Friends we can be encouraged today because we know a God that comforts and encourages us. He never leaves us. God earnestly cares for us but good grief we just need a minute to process.
Going back to what we know gives us comfort that God will be and is always with us. The God who comforts and encourages, comforts me.
Take a minute to process and think about all of the things that God has brought you through. He will never stop.
Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope your weekend was great. With all of the chaos around us, it is so easy to give up. However, faith brings endurance.
Last week, our refrigerator went out and we lost some of our food. Second, we had some electrical issues. Lastly, we had a fire ant outbreak in our kitchen. Just thinking and writing about these problems makes stresses me out. It would have been so easy to give up but I had to deal with it.
James 1:2-4 provides some hope when we are dealing with trials. Our attitude is key when going through trials. I think James must have realized that and through it was important.
“Consider it nothing by joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trails. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.” (James 1:2-4)
Friends, we all go through trials and oh my goodness they are painful. However, these trials develop the character of Christ in us. Praying our way through these trials may not make them go away any faster but will give us the strength to endure.
My attitude and relying on verses such as Philippians 4:13 is key to getting through all of my trials.
God will not leave us stuck in our troubles. Without the test, there will never be a good testimony. Trust God because He will never let us down.
Friends thank you for stopping by my blog today. I pray you will persevere through all of your trials.
Happy Monday friends! We are now into the month of May. The month of May is probably one of my favorite months of the year. In this week’s blog, I am talking about praise. Do you love to sing? Do you have times in your life that the joy of the Lord spills over into song? There is never a better time to get our praise on!
Let’s face it, we live in uncertain times. It is a struggle on many days to find something good in the world. If we only focus on the things of the world and how we feel, we would never find anything to be joyful about.
Psalm 18: 2-3 states, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise; and I have been saved from my enemies.”
The Lord is always stable and never changing and we are supposed to imitate Him.
In the good times, praise the Lord! In the bad times, praise the Lord! There is never a better time to get our praise on!
What music do you listen to? One of my new favorites is Endless Praise by Charity Gayle.
If you aren’t already, I urge you to fill your life with praise. On your drive to work, turn on your favorite praise and worship music. When you get home from a long day, tune into your favorite radio station.
God doesn’t care about your singing voice. He only cares about our heart! Praise will make your days go so much better.
Friends, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I would love to hear from you.
