Our hope is in the Lord!
Happy Monday! I hope that your week is off to a great start. I love this time of year. It is a bit chilly in the mornings but perfect by afternoon. This week, I am sharing some things I do when I feel a bit stressed. It can get pretty dark when we are stressed and overloaded. Now is the time to turn the light up!
My circuits are overloaded on many days. I have too many things planned for my day. By the end of the day, I am more than tired and way too tired to read my Bible.
I know that I am the one in control of my schedule. If I have too many things planned, I can make a change.
My day goes a whole lot better when I start my day with God. That may look a little different every day.
When I stay plugged into my energy source which is Jesus, my light burns bright.
John 8:12 states, “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
I may get physically tired, but the word of the Lord gives me the energy I need to make it through whatever life brings.
Keeping the attitude of gratitude throughout my day, helps me focus on the good not the bad.
Are you feeling a little tired today? Now is the time to turn the light up!

Happy Monday! There is a chill in the air. I love the Fall season. I believe new seasons bring hope. We all need a little hope right now!
These times require us to focus on God, not on the chaos. The Psalmist was discouraged in Psalm 43:5 says, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”
Thus, we can get easily discouraged by all of the chaos in the world.
I believe that Jesus wants us to be encouraged today. Staying encouraged means having hope.
Psalm 42:5, “Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become restless and disturbed with me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall again praise Him.”
We need a little hope right now.
Hope produces joy, song, and faith.
Don’t give up on hope.

Hello friends and Happy Fall! I love this time of year. The weather is changing, which always gives us hope. It is crucial to believe that something good will come.
Life is full of unexpected challenges. You overcome one challenge, another one comes. If we aren’t careful, we could allow these to bring us down in a hurry.
James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
James tells us, it is during trials and difficulties that we should believe something good will come from all of it. This scripture hit me hard. I don’t know about you but when I am down and going through a rough time it is hard to believe something good is coming.
However, here is the important part, God doesn’t find fault in me when I fail. We all fail!
But when we fail, it is important to get up and try again. We may not feel like it at the time, but we are getting stronger with every adversity.
So, here is the deal! It is crucial to believe that something good will come.
When we believe we stay in hope!
With that hope, take time to celebrate how far you have come not how far you have to go!
I have learned through all of the difficulties we have faced over the last year and a half to celebrate small victories. Even if it’s a small celebration! Celebrate!
Above all, believe that God is for you even when His answer may not be want we want to hear.
Psalms 31:3, “Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
