Our hope is in the Lord!
Happy Monday, Friends! I hope that your week is off to a great start! This is probably my most favorite time of year. I love all of the flowers. Spring is the time to just make somebody happy!
I remember when my boys would pick flowers from the yard to give to me. In a small way, they wanted to make me happy.
Ephesians 2:10 states, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
What are you doing to make somebody happy?
For starters, we need to get our minds off of ourselves which can be so hard. Even as an adult, we constantly think about the next greatest upgrade in all things.
We constantly find excuses to purchase a new phone, a car, or even a new home.
I admit, that I have been guilty in this area of my life.
There is nothing wrong with doing things for ourselves. However, we are so much happier when we do for others.
We need some kindness in this world. Take a minute to be the one who spreads kindness.
Friends, thank you for stopping by my blog today. I am always happy when you do! Stop by every week at kamzinsser.com.
Happy Monday and happy Spring! I hope that your weekend was great. Do you wake up thinking negative thoughts? Have you ever been driving in your care and those negative thoughts start flooding your mind? When this happens, it can cause fear to creep into your life. It is a constant battle. However, to overcome these negative thoughts, it’s better to start your day with something positive.
One of my favorite things in the Spring, are the beautiful flowers that pop up everywhere. I love my rose bushes and day lilies.
Flowers must have a few things to grow. If they aren’t rooted in the ground correctly, they would die. Also, without water and sun they wouldn’t grow into a beautiful flower.
Friends, in the same way we should be rooted and grounded in our faith.
Without the Word of God to water our soul, our foundation is weak. The Word of God is a lamp that shines bright. Starting our day with God, will provide that strong foundation we need to get through our day.
We can’t grow without a strong foundation.
The Bible says in Romans 12:2 states, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Set aside time every day to renew your mind. Friends, it’s better to start your day with something positive! Give it a try!

Happy Monday! Welcome to Spring! I hope that you had a great weekend. This week I am talking about stories. We all have a story. However, the ending is always the best part.
Life happens to all of us. Wow, just looking around the world, life is hard. We can always find someone who has it harder than we do.
I am saddened at all of the pain around the world. Sometimes it is so hard to find any good.
However, we can determine to drive some good out of everything that comes our way. In 2021, there was a devastating tornado that tore through Bremen, Kentucky. Jordan Baize emerged from his basement he saw that his roof had been blown away, doors were off the hinges, and shattered glass and insulation was every where. His Yamaha piano was intact. He sit down and played a song that had been in his dead for days: “There’s Something About That Name.”
Jordan Baize was determined to find some good out of everything.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
We all have a story to tell. I have experienced so much pain in my own life. But I’m still here and I love Jesus more and more.
My story is still being written. I didn’t like the first few chapters, but my life isn’t over yet!
The ending is always the best part and it will end well!
