Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope that you were able to spend time with your friends and loved ones over the weekend. My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at home. However, I made chocolate covered strawberries which is always a treat at our house. If you are feeling uneasy today, this blog is for you. Friends, in a chaotic world, we need God’s love, protection, and guidance in our lives.
Are you feeling a little uneasy lately? One of my go to passages in the Bible is Psalm 23. If you haven’t memorized it, you should do it today.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever (Psalm 23: 1-6).
Why should we allow the Lord to be our Shepherd? Specifically, He leads, protects, and guides us. But only if we allow Him too. He will not lead you down the wrong path.
If you are going through trouble in your life, God will restore your soul. Restore means to bring back to its original condition. I like the sound of that!
I don’t know about you, but I need that restoration from God every day.
If your heart is hurting on this Valentine’s Day, take comfort in God’s love. His love is unfailing and He never gives up on you.
Likewise, continue to grow stronger by filling up on God’s word every day. This is God’s plan for your life.

Happy Monday, Friends! It is a great day to have a great day. I hope that you are having a nice start to your week. We are in the first full week of February. What do you have planned for this week? Waiting is the hardest thing that we ever do!
This past weekend my husband and I had an early Valentines date. I hope that you and your family or friends are making the most of your time and doing things you love.
One of the hardest thing that we ever do is wait. We wait for our prayers to be answered. We spend a whole of time waiting at traffic lights. Did you know humans spend 6 months of their lives waiting in line and on average 43 days on hold with automated customer service.
Friends what are you waiting for? The Bible tells us in Psalms 39:7, “And now, Lord, for what do I expectantly wait? My hope [my confident expectation] is in You.”
You may be waiting on God to move on your behalf.
Don’t give up! He won’t let you down. Our hope is in the Lord.
I would love to pray for you. Let me know how I can pray for you.

Happy Monday! I hope that you are having a nice start to your week. We are starting a new month this week and boy is it easy to fall prey to the negativity of the world. For many years, the negativity that I allowed to enter my mind would replay over and over. It is time to stop the replay of negativity in our minds!
According to 2 Corinthians 5:21, “He made Christ who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God.”
The God’s righteousness is available to us when we ask Jesus to be our Savior. It is a gift to us. We didn’t earn it, it comes by grace and through faith.
About a year ago, I was listening to a podcast by Joyce Meyer. She said we could make our day go better just by getting our words in agreement with God. We can change our thoughts and words in agreement with the way God speaks and thinks about us.
Wow, this really hit me hard. I could change the way I felt about myself by aligning my thoughts with what God thinks of me?
I can say things like, “I am the righteousness of God.” “Jesus loves me!” It may be a bit awkward at first. But when you do this on a regular basis, it starts to sink in.
What are you saying about yourself? Stop the negativity replay in your mind today.
When we accept the righteousness of God the more we start to do and live right!
This is a game changer!
