Are you constantly frustrated?

How many times have you said, “I am so frustrated! I’ve had enough!”

We live in a world full of turmoil, anger, and hatred. It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day troubles and let it still our peace.

So how do we have peace and experience it even in the midst of trouble? Colossians 3:15 says, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

We can make the decision to stop letting things frustrate us. You might be reading this blog and saying to yourself, “you don’t have my problems.” No, I may not, but I can tell you that deciding to live a life in peace is a decision that starts first in our minds.

Instead of going to the phone to share all of our frustrations, go to the throne and tell God. Did you know that He is your friend? We can talk to God just like a friend.

We cannot do this in our own strength. So, start your day by saying, “with God’s help I will not get frustrated today. I will remain calm and hold my peace.”

Run towards peace today!
