Forgiveness

Happy Monday! What is the hardest part about forgiving someone? I know with me it is acting like the offense never occurred.

I might say I have forgiven someone but every time I get the opportunity, I bring up the offense. This is one of the hardest lessons that I have ever learned and needless to say I am still growing in this area.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 states, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”

Once I forgive, I keep, “no record of wrongs.” There goes my detailed list! Just kidding!

To live as Christ, we must not keep a record of the wrongs that people commit against us. That means to live a life that is full of joy and abundance, we must not only forgive but act like the offense never occurred.

I don’t know about you, but I want to live my life to the fullest! I choose to forgive and move on with my life!
