Happy Monday, friends! How was your Easter weekend? I miss my granddaughters. I see them every day on FaceTime, but I miss their hugs. What do you miss the most?
I am sharing a few ideas that you can do with things that you have around the house. I participated in a scavenger hunt on Friday with my good friend Lisa Marie Angell. She is my go-to for all things Norwex. If you like Norwex, check her group out on Facebook.
you should have gone through a few toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, and a few gallons of milk at your house. Do not throw these in the trash. Your kids can have some fun making things out of these simple items. Also, if you are having things delivered to your house and you have a big box, keep it as well.
A time capsule is a container filled with items that represent present-day things such as photos, letters, newspaper articles, magazines, etc. First, get an old cardboard box. Second, you might want to use a plastic bag to put the items in so the items will be weatherproof. Third, let your kids choose something that they want to put in the time capsule. Last, hide it or bury it. (https://www.mykidstime.com/things-to-do/how-to-make-a-time-capsule-with-kids/)
You can make many things with cardboard boxes. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Cover the toilet paper rolls with construction paper, make some wings, add some eyes and you have a bee or a ladybug. (https://www.easypeasyandfun.com/paper-roll-bee-craft-for-kids/)
Kids love to play and be creative. Let them come with their own ideas!
We are all in this together! Don’t forget to reach out with any questions.
Blessings!
