Hello friends! I hope that you had a restful weekend. I have had a lot of things on my mind over the weekend in light of all of the tragedies happening around the world.
We must pray and continue to pray. Psalms 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in the spirit.” I don’t know about you, but that Scripture is comforting.
I read a story about a little girl that made a paper heart for her mother. When she gave the heart to her mother, somehow the heart was ripped. The mother worried the little girl would be upset. The little girl just said, “That’s okay. God’s in the business of fixing broken and torn hearts.”
I think of how many times my heart has been broken and God has come in to repair my broken heart. You may feel like your heart is torn into pieces. Let God fix your broken heart!
